Green Purchasing Network India will be conducting a workshop on " Consultation Workshop on Carbon Oriented Ecomark Scheme for India "

GPNI is proposing to develop a Carbon oriented Ecomark scheme for the consideration of Ministry of Environment, Govt of India. The project is in the process of designing a suitable criteria for the label, and piloting the criteria on two popular consumer goods, Compact Florescent Lamps( CFL) and Writing Paper. This workshop will present the proposed criteria for the purpose of discussion. Mr. Tomoyuki Sazanami of the Japan Environment Association, will make a presentation on the evolution and experience of Ecomark, Japan.
